Online Notarization typically involves several key components:

1. Digital Documents: Instead of paper documents, electronic documents are used.
2. Identity Verification: The identity of the person signing the document is verified online. This can involve knowledge-based authentication (KBA), where the signer answers personal questions, or credential analysis, such as scanning a government-issued ID.
3. Digital Signature: The signer uses a digital signature to sign the document.
4. Audio-Visual Communication: Our notary public and the signer communicate in real-time using audio-visual technology (like a video call), ensuring that the signer is willingly and knowingly signing the document.
5. Electronic Notarization Seal: We affix an electronic seal or stamp and digital certificate to the document.
6. Record Keeping: We retain a recording of the audio-visual communication and other transaction records to fulfill legal requirements.
